The academic integrity policy for Math 132 is based on the Washington University Undergraduate Academic Integrity Policy, Students are expected to adhere to those guidelines.    In addition, and more specifically for Math 132, Spring 2017: Academic Integrity and iClickers  Conduct that violates the University's Academic Integrity policy includes, but is not limited to, asking another student to submit answers for you using an iClicker when you are not in class, and submitting answers on another student's iClicker During exams and quizzes: no calculators are allowed and form of electronic communication or referencing (such as internet, text messages, tweets or email for example). No contact in any form with any other person or source of information is permitted. Violations may be referred to the Academic Integrity Committee. In cases where there is evidence suggesting that cheating has happened on any Math 131 assignment, quiz, or exam, the evidence will be forwarded to the Academic Integrity Committee of the College of Arts and Sciences for adjudication.  Both the instructor and the student(s) involved will be asked to appear before the Committee to answer questions. If the Committee finds that an academic integrity violation occurred, it will impose a penalty such as a reprimand or discilinary probation to be placed in the student's WU record. Also, in cases where cheating is found to have occurred, it is not unusual for the Committee also to recommend to the instructor that the student receive a "0" for the assignment or exam, or even a failing grade for the course (a grade not removable by retaking the course). In more severe cases (such as second offenses before the Committee, or other aggravating circumstances), the Academic Integrity Committee may pass the case on to the University Judicial Board with a recommendation for suspension or expulsion.
