Syllabus

The course will cover all or most of Chapters 1-8 of the assigned text, depending on what pace seems appropriate. The goal of the course is to introduce you to a way of thinking about mathematics that will make it easier for you to learn this subject in more advanced courses or from reading more advanced texts.
A detailed Lesson Schedule and the homework assignments are posted in
Telesis, which you can access if you are registered in the course. It is strongly recommended that you work more exercises in the text than are assigned.
