Wing-Suet Li and I started writing an algebra book for junior high school students. The object was to write a series of mathematics books from which motivated, but not necessarily brilliant, schoolchildren could teach themselves all the mathematics that should be covered in a pre-calculus curriculum. The first two chapters have been written; feel free to print them and give them to any interested child. They cover rational numbers and algebraic formulas, and are complete with exercises.Algebra I
