Math 128 Announcements, Monday, 26 April ‘10

• The quiz this week will be on sections 15.7, 15.8, 15.9
• This week in class we will finish 15,9 and then do 15.1, 15.2, 15.3
• The last class is this Friday. The final is one week after that, in the morning, and possibly in a different room than the one you have been using.
• The final will cover the entire course with the emphasis on various topics corresponding approximately to the amount of time we spent on them. One exception is the first chapter, Chapter 11. That material is covered implicitly in the later chapters so I don’t plan to have specific questions on it.
• The exam will be 15 multiple choice questions, 7 points each, total points 105.
• The policies about calculators and note cards are unchanged.
• I am not using last semester’s exams in making the final. However most of the questions on last semester’s final are in line with the general type of questions I am planning on.
