Through Each One Teach One, WUSTL students work to inspire, teach, support, and enrich the lives of young people. Over 200 WUSTL students currently tutor at-risk K-12 students in the area. Information sessions for the program are on September 3 (Tuesday) 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the DUC, room 233 and September 9 (Thursday) 8:00-9:00 p.m. at Ursa's Fireside.

Designed by the Community Service Office at Washington University in St. Louis, Each One Teach One typically requires between a two to three hours weekly time commitment from mentors. Tutoring is one-on-one.
Three programs are available through Each One Teach One:
- Jump Start, serving grade levels K-6
- KIPP, grade levels 5-7
- College Bound, grade levels 10-12
Jump Start tutors help students complete their homework and reinforce basic math, reading, and writing skills. KIPP's mission is "to inspire all students to develop the character and academic skills necessary to succeed in high school and college." College Bound "provides promising high school students from under-resourced backgrounds with the academic enrichment, social support and life skills needed to apply, matriculate and succeed in four-year colleges."
The Each One Teach One enrollment deadline is Wednesday, September 11, 5:00 p.m.
