Ryan Endsley, Christina Kreisch, and Nathan Stein win Gold Medal in the 2013 University Physics Competition

Life-form design wins Gold Medal in the 2013 University Physics Competition for mathematics-physics double major Ryan Endsley, Christina Kreisch, and teammate Nathan Stein, a physics-geophysics major.

2013's was the fourth meeting of The University Physics Competition, a relatively new international contest for undegraduate students. Two problems were submitted to the 2013 participants; Problem A having to do with strategizing a gravitationally-assisted Jupiter orbital entry and Problem B, with conceptualizing a plausible extraterrestrial life-form. The WUSTL team's answer to Problem B won Gold.
