Embracing Copyrights

"Managing your rights is essential to taking charge of your publishing career," writes Micah Zeller. "Understanding copyright's baseline rules and practices means less future headache. We'll review strategies for including copyrighted material in your work, how—and more importantly, when—to seek permissions for use, and the application of WashU's IP policies to classroom instruction." Zeller will lead a DoAttend workshop titled Embracing Copyright in Your Research, Writing, and Teaching at the Olin Library on the Danforth Campus at WUSTL on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

Also in the DoAttend workshop series, Eric Kansa will present his research on open link data for the humanities on Wednesday, September 3, at 3:00 pm in the Ginko Room on Level 1 of Olin. More on this research at http://opencontext.org/about⇨
