Abstract: In 1978, several striking results about properties of weakly pseudoconvex domains with real-analytic boundary came out from the papers by Bedford-Fornaess and Diederich-Fornaess. We will introduce them, e.g., the theorem about construction of peak functions over specific weakly pseudoconvex domains and whether there are complex subvarieties living in the boundary of weakly pseudoconvex domains. If there is time, we shall sketch the proof.
