Look over the following questions. These are typical questions from the Readiness for Calculus III exam. If you feel comfortable with these questions then fill out the information below. If not then choose a different exam.
You will have 2 hours once you begin. A question will be shown on the screen and several answers (usually A-I). You choose an answer by clicking on the button to the left of the letter. You may choose not to answer a question and come back to it later.
The program will always default to going to the next question numerically, but by clicking on the button showing the next question you may choose to jump anywhere in the test. The button will show you what questions you have answered, but you may also choose to go back to a question you have previously answered and change it. One of the choices from the "Next Question" button will be "Done". Choosing this will show you if you have any unanswered questions remaining and prompt you to end the test or go back and work some more. You may not go back and retake a test, but you can take any other test.
DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON DURING THE EXAM. If you would like to go back then use the questions navigator to go back toa question. Using the back button will result in the loss of answers and will not result in any extra time for the exam.
If at any time you need to restart the exam, there is a link on the main page to do so.
ONCE YOU HAVE STARTED AN EXAM YOU NEED TO FINISH IT. If you decide you no longer want to take that exam then you need to end the test and get your score and then choose a new test. You will not be able to go back and take the exam over again.
You are allowed paper, a writing utensil, and a calculator. Not all calculators are allowed. Approved calculators include the TI-81, 82, 83 and 85 but not the TI-92. The general guideline is that the calculator should not be able to do calculus symbolically.
