Research
I am interested in questions which lie in the intersection of combinatorics, discrete geometry, and topology.
My Ph.D. thesis is available
here.
For my dissertation, I studied the effects of Steiner points on the weight of minimum weight triangulations.
I am also interested in a curve known as the k-ellipse.
Given k points ("foci") in R^2, and a distance d, the k-ellipse is the set of all points (x,y) whose summed distance to the k foci is d.
