Semester and Final Exams

Exam Schedule
The schedule of examinations in Math 217 for Spring 2009 is as follows:

Exam Date Time
Exam I Tuesday, February 3 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Exam II Tuesday, March 3 6:30 = 8:30 PM
Exam III Tuesday, April 7 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Final Friday, May 1 10:30 - 12:30

Each exam will cover the material studied since the previous exam.
This includes the final, which will not be comprehensive .

Each of exams I - III will consist of fifteen 5 point multiple choice questions
and one 25 point hand graded problem, for which partial credit may be given.
Because of time constraints at grading time, the final will will be entirely multiple choice.

If the final grade is higher than any of the previous three scores, the lowest
score will be replaced by the final grade (the final cannot be replaced). The average
of the resulting four numbers is the exam grade, which makes up 90% of the course grade.
