Each class begins at seven minutes after the hour and lasts until the end of the hour. Late arrivals and early departures are disruptive for other students, so please try to avoid them. You are responsible for any material covered in class and any announcements made there.  If you have to be absent, check with a responsible friend to see what you missed.

                                              Math 233 Electronic Bulletin Board

As the semester progresses, various announcements will appear on this bulletin board, each beginning with the date the announcement is posted.  You should try to form the habit of checking the bulletin board every week or so to see if any new announcements appear.

9/03  Posted just above this bulletin board is the schedule for Matlab consultants.  You are welcome to drop by during any of these scheduled times.

9/05  Several students have asked about using problem solving methods other than those mentioned in the text or in class.  This is fine--indeed, coming up with innovative methods is to be applauded.  One of the great things about vector algebra is that it gives a huge number of ways to attack problems.

9/05  The Cornerstone calculus help desk will, starting this coming Monday, be staffed from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday.

9/08  The solutions to Homework #1 are now posted.  Click on HW#1 below.  Usually, solutions to homework assignments will be posted a day or two after the due date--until then, you'll get an error message if you click on the assignment number.  In order to access the posted solutions, you'll need to have Adobe Acrobat (or something similar) loaded onto your PC.
You can download Adobe Acrobat (it's free) from the Adobe Acrobat web site.
