• Read chapter 3, section 3.7 and chapter 4, sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3.
• Do Algorithms and Programs 4 (c) of section 3.7, page 184.
• Do exercise 4 (a, b) of section 4.1, page 195.
• Do exercise 9 of section 4.1, page 196.
• Do exercise 2 (e) of section 4.2, page 205. (Ignore that we already know the coefficients of P(x) and show how to find these coefficients if we only knew that the given points lie on the graph of P(x).)
• Do exercise 2 (b) of section 4.3, page 218.
• Do exercise 10 (c) of section 4.3, page 219.
