• Read chapter 9, sections 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, 9.7.
• Do Algorithms and Programs 9, section 9.5, page 504.
• Do Algorithms and Programs 12 (b), section 9.7, page 526. Display the result as a graph of the angle versus time.
• Do Algorithms and Programs 13 (a), section 9.7, page 526. Display the result as a graph of the number of rabbits versus the number of foxes and interpret in words what the graph shows.
• Do Algorithms and Programs 17, section 9.7, page 528. Plot the solution curves for several initial conditions on the same graph to obtain a phase portrait similar to figure 9.21, page 527. I suggest the initial conditions: (2,0), (0,2), (0,0), (-1.2,0), and (-0.5,2).
