You will probably find the lectures more valuable if you read the material and attempt some of the problems before coming to class.
Note: Exercises requiring a graphing calculator are marked in the textbook with a calculator icon. If there is no such icon, you should be able to do the problem without a calculator, although a calculator might still be handy for checking some of your work. If you need a calculator to solve a problem that doesn't have the calculator icon, then you are too calculator dependent.
Please check the assignments here each week. Although they are laid out for the whole semester, they may be modified somewhat as we move along.
