Note: Exercises requiring a graphing calculator are marked in the textbook with a calculator icon. If there is no such icon, you should be able to do the problem without a calculator, although a calculator might still be handy for checking some of your work. If you need a calculator to solve a problem that doesn't have the calculator icon, then you're probably too calculator dependent.
Please check the assignments on-line each week. Although they are laid out for the whole semester, they may be modified somewhat as we move along.
