In recent years I have been trying to develop ideas in the three following areas:

• Use of MATLAB in Calculus courses. For this I have written the text book "Using MATLAB in Calculus", Prentice Hall, Upper Saddle River, NJ, 2000. It is available for purchase at Amazon.com, for example. ISBN 0-13-027268-X.
• Mathematics education for prospective elementary school teachers. I have recently completed the textbook "Arithmetic for Teachers, with Applications and Topics from Geometry", American Mathematical Society, fall 2003. It is available for purchase from the AMS Bookstore
• Surfaces in space studied by the method of moving frames. There is a preliminary draft of an intended book, not yet ready for distribution.
