Messages

If I have some important information about the course I will post it here. Be sure to check back from time to time.

Friday December 22nd.

The final grades are now posted on Egrades, and you can get your final exam back at the Math department office (Cupples I, room 100). Happy holidays!

Friday December 8th.

For the final exam, you will get an updated list of postulates and theorems. It will be like this one, only without the page- and date-references.

I will be away next week (11th - 15th), but I will be back on Monday 18th. If something important comes up, I will be reading my e-mail.

Monday December 4th.

The final exam is moved to Wednesday, December 20th, 1 - 3 PM. It will be held in Cupples I, room 215, which is just above our usual room.

Tuesday November 21th.

Because of the holidays, there is no lecture on Thursday (November 23rd). The remaining lectures are (in addition to today) Tuesday, November 28th, Tuesday, December 5th, and Thursday, December 7th. There will be a problem session on Thursday, November 30th.

Monday November 13th.

Thursday's exam will be on material from the first eleven chapters of the book. Also this exam will be proctored by Professor Ravindra. As last time, you will get paper to write on, and an updated list of all postulates and theorems (PDF).

Tuesday October 3rd.

The exam on Thursday will be proctored by Professor Ravindra (ravindra at math.wustl.edu). You are not allowed to bring along any aids. You will get paper to write on, and a list of all the postulates and theorems we have introduced in the course (PDF).

Tuesday September 26th.

The first in-class exam is on Thursday October 5th. (next week). The exam will be from the first four chapters of the book (or in other words; from things treated in class up to and including this week).

I will be away during the exam, so someone else will proctor it. I am leaving on Tuesday evening, so if you have any questions regarding the exam, you should ask me before Tuesday.

Friday September 1st.

The web-page for the course is up and running.
