Summer Math REU 2006

What could be more exciting than being paid to fly to Pennsylvania and spend 7 weeks with other awesome math majors playing sports and researching? The PSU REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) was so much fun! I learned about Regular Solids, Latin Squares, and even Salsa danced a bit. We even had time to spend a day in Philly, where I was finally able to see the Liberty Bell! My partner, AJ, and my research focused on the quaternions representing the vertices of the 4-dimensional tetrahedron. It was a great first look into the world of math research!
