Title:  Generalized estimating equation in longitudinal study

Abstract: Liang and Zeger(1986) proposed the method of generalized estimating equation(GEE)  which extends the methodology of generalized linear models to the context of  the longitudinal data.  The GEEs have solutions which are consistent and asymptotically normal even when the time dependence is misspecified. In 2001, Crowder argued that the GEE estimators may not have the asymptotically properties.
