Dear Students, We plan to teach Math 309, Matrix Algebra, Fall 2020, as follows: We will give live interactive lectures at the scheduled class meeting times, three per week per section. Live two-way Zoom feeds of these lectures will be available to all registered students. The live lectures will also be recorded and viewable by all registered students throughout the semester. Attendance in person will be available but may be limited by campus policies. It is likely, given classroom size constraints, that not all students will be able to attend all lectures in person. Additional prerecorded lectures on various Matrix Algebra topics will be available to all registered students throughout the semester. Homework will be assigned through WebWork. Expect two or three short HW sets per week. A short take-home quiz will be assigned every two weeks. It will be hand graded using CrowdMark. There will be two midterm exams and one final exam, all take-home, all hand graded using CrowdMark. Office hours will be through Zoom only. Email help will also be available throughout the semester. Sincerely, Prof. Kumar Prof. Wickerhauser
