Section 3 Homework Assignments

This section's homework will include the homework assignments of the other sections; see the daily assignments section of the syllabus.  However, in this section some additional homework problems will be collected and graded.  Problems to be graded will be collected on Wednesdays, except on exam weeks and on the week of Thanksgiving.  The graded homeworks will count as 3/2 of an exam in the final grade.  The table below indicates the homeworks which are to be turned in for grading.  As with the quizzes, you must show all your work to receive full credit.  It is strongly recommended that you do all the assigned problems, not just those which are graded.

The grader for the homeworks is Alok Kothari, who can be reached at 314 935-2048.  Questions about grading should be directed to Mr. Kothari.

Homework will be collected in class the day it is due, and will be returned within one week in a tray atop the rack labeled Math 131, located on the main floor of Cupples I, just outside Professor Wright's office, Room 114.
