| THE MATH AND
MUSIC COURSE
Each spring I teach the course
Mathematics 109/Music 109M, Mathematics & Music, a course I
designed. It was first taught in the spring of 2002 (which was the

to download the flyer that was used to advertise the course).
The class meets MWF 1-2 in Life Sciences, Room 118. My
grader and assistant for the course this past spring was Michael
Deutsch, a graduate
student in the Department of Mathematics. The syllabus used in 2009 can
be seen by

or you can download the syllabus as a pdf file by clicking below. It
gives a description of the course, homework policy, exam dates, and
office hours. Other downloads from the course appear below. These
include handouts, links, homework, exams, and exam solutions.
