THE MATH AND MUSIC COURSE

This spring, 2008, I am, as usual, teaching the course Mathematics 109/Music 109M, Mathematics & Music, a course I designed. It was first taught in the spring of 2002 (which was the first time such a course was offered at Washington University - click here to download the flyer that was used to advertise the course).

The class meets MWF 1-2 in Life Sciences, Room 118. My grader and assistant for the course this year is Michael Deutsch, a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics. The syllabus can be seen by clicking here, or you can download the syllabus as a pdf file by clicking below. It gives a description of the course, homework policy, exam dates, and office hours. Other downloads will appear below as the semester progresses. These include handouts, course notes, homework, and exams.
