Text: Precalculus: A Problems-Oriented Approach, 6th edition, by David Cohen with Theodore B. Lee and David Sklar.

Description: This course is the continuation of U20-141 ( Precalculus I ).  We will cover the following topics: Trigonometric functions, analytic trigonometry, systems of linear equations, and roots of polynomials, etc, i.e. the chapter 6 to chapter 12 of  the textbook.

Homework: I will assign the homework problems  for your benefit and collect on the following dates: 06/22, 06/29, 07/6, 07/13, 07/12, 07/27, 08/01. After turning in the homework, the solutions will be handed out.  Besides the homework problems, I will assign some suggested problems to you that you  don't need to turn in. Because I think doing problems will help you tot really master the knowledge and achieve the goal of this course, I wish you can do most of the problems and I will provide the solutions. If you have any questions about the problems, please feel free to ask me.

Quizzes: There will be two quizzes given on 06/29 and 07/18 and each quiz will take 25-30 minutes at the beginning of the class. The quiz problems won't be hard since I just want to know how you master the new knowledge.

Final exam: An  in-class final exam will be given at the last day of  the class, Thursday, August 3rd, 6:45 PM -- 8:45 PM. I will be in the class room from 6:00 PM to take your questions.
