The Washington University Department of Mathematics hosted an international Analysis Conference on the Interplay of Complex Variables, Probability and Partial Differential Equations from May 11 to May 14, 2005. The afternoon session on May 14 was devoted to celebrate the mathematical achievements of Albert Baernstein II on the occasion of his sixty-fifth birthday.
The Organizing Committee consists of Nicola Arcozzi (Bologna), Daniel Girela (Málaga), Leonid Kovalev (Saint Louis), Richard Laugesen (Urbana-Champaign), Juan Manfredi (Pittsburgh) and Guido Weiss (Saint Louis).
