Math 131, Spring 2006, Lesson Schedule

Most of the material in Chapter 1 of the text should be a review from pre-calculus. A possible exception is Section 1.7 on parametric equations, which is where we shall begin. For the first few days, reading assignments to review the earlier parts of Chapter 1 are also included with the daily reading. Be sure you understand that material. Feel free to see me if you want to talk about any of it.

The Final Exam covers Sections 4.6, 4.7, 4.9, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5. In short, it covers the material done since Exam 3. The exam will have the same format as the three exams: 14 multiple choice problems (each worth 5 points) and 3 hand-graded problems (each worth 10 points).
