+ An option to Take the Tram to the Top of the Arch (tickets required)

Recommended Transportation from WashU to Downtown St. Louis via MetroLink:
+ Board at Skinker Station at WashU (eastbound, blue line, 1 stop).
+ Transit at Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station (eastbound, red line, 9 stops).
+ Arrive at Laclede’s Landing Station, which is a 10-minute walk to the Gateway Arch.

Riding the MetroLink is an enjoyable way to see the city and offers nicer views than traveling by taxi. The ride takes 30 minutes and costs $2.50 each way (cash or card accepted at stations or Transit app https://transitapp.com/ on your phone). As with any large city, participants are encouraged to travel with a partner when using public transportation.
